Online Spectrum Database: Help & Guide

Learn how to use the online version of the PolicyTracker Spectrum Database (PSD).

| Richard Haas

The online Spectrum Database provides an easy-to-use way to view our database in your browser. Alternative Excel and Google Sheets versions are also available.

The online Database is made up of three sections – spectrum assignments, $/MHz/Pop pricing and spectrum allocations. Take note of the following for each section:

Instructions for all sections

  • Use the filters in the blue area above the table to sort through assignments
  • You can also sort from A-Z, or Z-A by clicking on the header for a particular column (e.g. click ‘Country’ to see countries in alphabetical order)
  • Click on an individual licence to see more information in the box underneath the main table; by default, you will see the results for the first licence if you don’t have an individual licence selected
  • If the ‘More information’ block is empty, this means there is no additional information available for that licence

Spectrum assignments only

  • If you want to show expired licences, tick the “Include expired licences” option under ‘Optional filter’
  • Expired licences will be shown in red to differentiate them from active licences
