The US regulator, the FCC, is consulting on a petition from Sennheiser Electronic Corporation to allow it to use 6 MHz channels for wireless microphones. The increase in permitted bandwidth from 200 kHz would allow the use of Wireless Multi-Channel Audio Systems (WMAS). Read more...
