UK: population density map and data
Just 6% of the UK's land mass is made up of 'intensively built-up' areas and is inhabited by 75% of the population. The remaining population live mostly in 'moderately built-up' areas which make up 34% of the land mass, leaving over half of land mass containing very few people.
