5.1 - 5.9 GHz is key Wi-Fi band, which may be extended further at WRC-19. The band has also hosted unlicensed versions of LTE in recent years, and is poised to do the same for 5G NR. Above 5850 MHz the band is allocated for Intelligent Transport Services. Read more...
