The Belgian regulator is consulting on a draft decision to grant licences for fixed networks. Citymesh Mobile was granted a licence in the 28 GHz band. Proximus, Orange, Telenet, NRB and Citymesh were granted licences in the 70/80 GHz band. The consultation is open until May 31, 2023. Read more...

South African consultation on draft IMT roadmap

South Africa's independent telecoms regulator, ICASA, is consulting on a draft roadmap for IMT (mobile broadband). ICASA has said that responses to the consultation will inform its future policies for the bands, including potential awards.
