Terms and Conditions for PolicyTracker Public Research Reports
These Terms and Conditions apply to research reports sold to the public rather than those commissioned by individual organisations.
Research reports sold to the public by PT Publishing Ltd may not, in their entirety, be reproduced, stored in a retrieval system or transmitted in any form by any means (electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording or otherwise) without the prior written consent of the publisher. PT Publishing Ltd grants customers a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the report within their organisation only, including within closed computer systems, for internal use. Where a corporate licence has been granted the report can be used by anyone within the organisation.
The report in its entirety shall not be distributed in any form to people outside a customer’s organisation.
2. Fair use policy
Without seeking further permission, parts of the report can be used in documents intended for distribution outside the customer's organisation for the purposes of criticism, review or to enhance public understanding provided that:

- The material quoted is accompanied by some actual discussion or assessment
- The amount of the material quoted is no more than is necessary
- The material used does not amount to more than 500 words and five diagrams or illustrations. If you would like to use more than this, please seek our permission.
As long as the source is acknowledged, there are no further restrictions on how customers may use extracts from this report within their own organisation.
This document, including any figures and tables, has been prepared by PT Publishing using all reasonable care and skill. Opinions expressed are those of the report authors only. PT Publishing shall not be liable for loss or damage (including consequential loss) whatsoever or howsoever arising from the use of this publication by the customer or any third party. Terms appearing in this report may be proprietary and these are acknowledged through the normal UK publishing practice of capitalisation. The presence of a term in whatever form does not affect its legal status as a trademark. All reasonable attempts have been made to seek permission from authors and publishers to reproduce extracts from academic work cited in this report.
